WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND

WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND

Recall when Hula Hoops were the rage?

Wikipedia says, “A hula hoop is a toy hoop that is twirled around the waist, limbs or neck. They have been used by children and adults since at least 500 BC. The modern hula hoop was inspired by Australian bamboo hoops. The new plastic version was popularized in 1958 by the Wham-O toy company and became a fad.”

These days (this written 9/27/2021) Hula Hoops not the rage. But, roundabouts are the rage. WSDOT says, “A modern roundabout is a circular intersection where drivers travel counterclockwise around a center island. There are no traffic signals or stop signs in a modern roundabout. Drivers yield at entry to traffic in the roundabout, then enter the intersection and exit at their desired street.”
