On Feb. 12, 2013, voters approved a bond for the Pullman

School District -- Community Supports Bond with 78%
"YES" Vote! Thank you, Pullman! "We thank our community members
for this incredible show of support," said superintendent, Paul Sturm.

High School and the expansion of elementary classroom capacity. Students, staff, and families in and around
Pullman will benefit from these projects for decades to come. We are grateful

Daily News -- Pullman voters approved a $53.5 million bond
Tuesday, paying for a new high school and an expansion of Franklin Elementary.
PHS Principal Joe Thornton: "This is my 14th year at Pullman High School
and from the get-go I recognized the challenges this building presented. ...The
new high school will improve security, enhance athletic space, accommodate
advances in technology and correct energy and space inefficiencies."
Tribune -- Pullman voters OK new high school Pullman voters
overwhelmingly approved a bond issue Tuesday that will fund construction of a
new high school. The project includes 72 percent new construction and 28
percent renovation on the current high school site. Approximately $2 million of
the bond will also be used to expand Franklin Elementary School in Pullman to
keep up with a projected increase in K-5 enrollment. The district hopes to
break ground on the new high school in 2014, and construction is expected to
take at least two years to complete.
